New (ish) Paintings - Previously Unposted

I have mostly finished with the 12" x 12" works and am now devoting my efforts towards larger paintings. The plan is to see what happens when I let these patterns run wild on a larger surface. 

Busted!

Thanks to Eileen for this wonderful picture. I am setting up to take photos of my work. I shot all of the 12" square paintings including a few that have not previously been posted here or my website: samuelwukusick.weebly.com . I have posted them all now in the gallery section and I will post the new ones above.

I am *mostly* done with the small works on wooden panels, and am moving into works on paper. I am excited to incorporate ink drawing and printmaking into these pieces. This will allow me to move from a solid, bold asthetic to a more nuanced, ethereal feel.
